Why Should Anyone Care?

      Responding to First Essay:

        He is sitting at his desk in his bright room staring at his book. His eyes roam between lines and pages, delving deeper into his readers and increasing his passion to understand more. But his most important goal is to complete the homework of reading. He took out his laptop to start writing, and between each group of pages he put some notes that help him understand and make it easier for him to complete the assignment.

 

 I think reading out loud might help improve approach reading assignments, also taking notes while reading and looking for common connections between what I read will help to improve.

 

- Benjamin Percy panics when he encounters his first reading list. In the beginning, he tries to read too much and reads too quickly. What does he come to realize about the importance of “reading as a writer?”

 

 He writes many notes, reads them slowly, and re-reads them more than once to understand the emotional side and technique. And in order to read as a writer, you must understand how to construct a causal narrative.

 

 

- What do you think it means to be “the slowest reader?” While we are not writing fiction in this course, how do you think being a slow reader and “reading as a writer” might apply to the essays we encounter in this class?

 

 

Reading as a writer will help me to better understand and look at the technique used in writing and benefit from the information of the article at the same time. As for slow reading, this is the way I always read because English is my second language.

Prewriting for Second Essay:

        He's sitting at his desk in his brightly lit room, opening his laptop and placing a cup of tea near him to help him focus. He starts writing and imagining the events in his mind before writing them down on his device. At the same time, he focuses on the ways he learned to improve his writing skill.

Arrange the ideas in my mind and write them on a paper before start writing my essay. 

 

Stay in quite place to help men focusing in my writing.

 

 

- Pick two ideas in the short essay that you think are the most important. How will these concepts help you going forward as a college student facing writing assignments?

 

 

1- As you research, ask yourself, “What surprises me about this subject?”

 It would help me to Arrange the ideas in my mind before start writing. Also, it would help me come up with new important ideas of a surprising nature. 

 

 

2- Be “source heavy.”

This technique will help me to make writing simpler because it will shorten the time from just focusing on writing to focusing on the solidity of the source and research to prove my ideas in my writing. It will also give the article confidence to the reader and give him the knowledge aspect.
