The Coming of John
Part 1:
The danger is that we build wrong perceptions and they are unfair to the others most of the time.
Stereotypes exist in all societies and human minds. Unfortunately, it is the cause of most problems and a bad view of others. If it did not exist, we would now live in heaven, and this is what Nakali sees
Not judging things or people before seeing the story from the other side or hearing it from them first.
Part 2:
John Jones faced a lot of prejudice during his life. His town's white residents respected his labor in the fields and believed that enrolling in school would ruin him. Judge Henderson's son, John Henderson He used to go to school and was a childhood friend of John Jones until he grew up and treated him with racism. Then Karma hits Henderson.
I think his goal was to convey the idea to us, and his goal was not to gain people's sympathy, so he did not choose the story of a real person, but in return he created a little bit of reality when he used racism. suffered by blacks from whites.
There was no fairness to Jones' education. He was not supported at school, and the white people wanted Jones to fail at school in order to remain a worker. He began to feel ashamed of himself after realizing the reality of the world. The more he realizes the truth and reality, the more miserable he becomes.
I see that both stories talk about racism, its existence, and its impact on our lives as individuals in the world. And I think you should always listen to others to find the things that connect us as human beings and stay away from things that promote racism.
What I found during my research on what happened in the Jim Crow era was that the freedoms of blacks were not guaranteed. Many black people have migrated to big cities to obtain greater freedom, and white people have developed laws that prevent this. And there was great racism in dealing with black people in public places. This is what boosted the migrations of many black people from the south to the north of USA.
